At Home From Home Pet Sitting Halesowen, we pride ourselves on offering 5 ⭐ home boarding - ensuring your pet(s) receive the utmost care and attention. Your dog will enjoy a relaxing home-like environment with plenty of fuss, playtime, and personalised enrichment plan.

We live in a quiet area of Halesowen near a farm for lots of countryside walks. We also live close to lots of nature reserves, including Haden Hill park, Clent, and Waseley Hills. Our large garden is secured with a 6ft fence. 

Activities & Treats

Your dog will be treated to two delightful walks per day, tailored to their needs and energy levels. We also ensure lots of fun with toys, games, and even basic training exercises. Our goal is to mimic their home environment as closely as possible, making their stay with us a memorable one.

Dietary & Medical Needs

We understand the importance of maintaining your dog's usual diet to avoid any tummy upsets. Please bring their food with them, and we can accommodate specific dietary needs, including weighing food and providing freezer space for raw diets. Rest assured, we pay close attention to any medical needs and administer medications as required. This information is discussed at your meet and greet.

Meet & Greet

We encourage you to schedule a meet and greet before booking to ensure our home is the perfect fit for your furry friend(s). You also get to meet us in person and we can get to know all about your dogs personality. You will find our boarding licence, insurance policy, and qualifications which are on display for you to view in the hall.

What are the arrival and departure times for the dog boarding service?

We are very flexible and you can arrange pick up and drop offs between the hours of 9am - 7pm. 

Do you offer any special activities or treats for the dogs during their stay?

Yes, we provide toys, treats, games, and basic training exercises to keep your dog entertained and happy.

We also taken them to secure doggie fields so that they can have some off lead fun in a safe and secure environment (summer months).

We tailor their holiday to their individual energetic level and like to give 2 walks per day. If your doggie is senior, the exercise programme will be tailored to their needs.

How do you handle any specific dietary or medical needs for the dogs?

We request that you bring your dog's usual food to avoid tummy upsets. We can weigh food if needed and provide freezer space for raw diets.

We can also administer medications if required - remember to discuss this at your meet and greet.

Where do dogs sleep at night?

Dogs have access to the whole of downstairs and our secure garden. They will be accompanied by Nicki or Adam the majority of the day. however at night, dogs are kept downstairs in our home.

If your dog is used to sleeping with you in your bed, they may not be comfortable at Home From Home Pet Sitting Halesowen. 

What do I need to provide for my dogs holiday?

Some dogs prefer to eat out of their usual bowl and sleep on their bed that smells like their home.

Therefore please bring your dogs food, bowls, bed, and any of their favourite toys and treats to make their stay more comfortable!

How do I book?

Please contact us to check our availability as we get booked up well in advance (especially the summer months). We are taking bookings for 2025.

If we have availability we will arrange a meet & greet at our home so you can meet us in person.

What happens at the Meet & Greet?

Meet & Greets take place in our home and last approx 30 minutes. 

Bring your pooch to meet us and they can have a sniff around our home and garden while we discuss the finer details.

If you want to book your dates, we require a £10 per day deposit and some paperwork to be filled in.

Vaccinations

All dogs need to be up to date with their vaccinations and proof of this will be needed prior to their stay. This is to keep all dogs in our care safe from diseases and to comply with Dudley Council's boarding regulations. 

We also ask that you regularly flea and worm your dogs so that it covers their stay whilst with us. 

We recommend dogs are vaccinated against Kennel Cough, however this is not a necessity.
